I am Ted Hale, a fitness professional and personal trainer for more than 23 years. I was drawn to fitness at a young age because I realized the dramatic life changing ability of this field. To be able to pursue a career that changes the lives of other people in such a positive way is truly a blessing
I began at The Body Shop in Roseland, NJ when I was 18. From there, my brother and I ran a large fitness center in Morris County full-time. I attended Kean University in 1990, CCRI in 1991-92 and Monclair State from 1992-95 focusing on exercise physiology. I recieved my AFAA Fitness Certification in 1994.
After getting my certification, I worked at International Health and Fitness in Clifton, Gold’s Gym in Totowa, New York Sports Club in West Caldwell, Tiger Fitness in Fairfield, World of Fitness in Bloomfield, and Bally’s Fitness in Wayne.
Currently I do personal training at a state-of-the-art facility in Woodland Park, and I also provide in-home training and nutritional counseling in person or over the phone.
